Our client is a US company listed on the stock-exchange active in the trading business. European Headquarters is located in the Netherlands. The company has branches in the Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
During the last years they have had a strong growth is business; not only worldwide but also in Europe they have taken top-3 position in the market.

The financial department consists of around 50 persons. One of the departments directly under the European Finance Director is the Financial Analysis team. This team consists currently of 2 analysts and the manager. Due to increased work, the team is searching for a third FA Analyst.

The organisation has a no-nonsense culture with a very open and direct way of communication. The growing perspective of the employees is very good.

Job Description:
This position within the team is an addition to the existing team.
You will constantly look at the processes and procedures and develop and implement improvements to bring management information to a higher level.
You will produce financial forecasts and budgets across all European business.

Furthermore, you will analyse results, profitability, investments, cash flows, efficiencies, investments, financial ratio’s etc.
In your work you will have frequent contact with the local finance team in the European region.

Your work will contain a lot of projects. One of the projects which is very current is the implementation and improvement of the new track-and-trace system combined with profitability analysis.
You will participate in different teams where you represent finance; these teams consist of representatives of the different departments within the company and can be seen as “think tanks”.

Job Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor or university degree in Economics with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience. You are a native German speaker and your knowledge of the English language is good.
Working in a hectic and changing environment is a challenge to you.
You have a keen eye for the business and understand commerce.
Knowledge of Hyperion is a strong point.

You are able to communicate with different kinds of people within the organisation. You have experience in working with forecasts and budgeting processes.
